The Friends of the Waltham Public Library are celebrating our library's 150th anniversary! Please join us in supporting excellent Waltham library services into the next 150 years!

The world has changed a great deal in the last 150 years, and so have libraries. But whatever new formats and gadgets come along, libraries will continue to bring people and ideas together, providing information, technology, assistance, study and meeting space free of charge to all.

The Friends of the Waltham Public Library, Inc. assist in areas that are above and beyond the municipal library budget, sponsoring projects including summer reading programs for children and teens; free arts, instructional and educational programs for all ages; an extensive feature film collection; discount passes for over 20 area museums; and equipment such as laptop computers.

You can download a PDF about the library's 150 years and anniversary here.

Thank you for supporting service and technology improvements to your library, an essential community resource and a cornerstone of our democracy.
